|25 miles to bagdad baby!!!
Allies Close Within 25 Miles of Baghdad
NEAR KARBALA, Iraq - U.S. troops closed within 25 miles of Baghdad on Wednesday, after coalition forces captured bridges en route to the capital and destroyed one division of Saddam Hussein Republican Guard near the Tigris River.
The advancing coalition forces found little resistance as they headed north. When there was fighting, the troops advanced as well: By Wednesday evening, U.S. officials said a second division of the Republican Guard was no longer a "credible force."
HA! Take THAT IRAQ!
you know it seems that its not just the people of Iraq who are sick and need our medicine. There are quite a few in our own country and EVEN here in livejournal that could use some tough love HINT HINT anon posters!
Tonight is the moment of truth. my prayers are with my boys (and chicks) over there fighting the good fight and standing up for some much needed MORAL CLARITY!

NEWSFLASH!Jessica Lynch Rescued in Raid on Hospital!
NASIRIYAH, Iraq — Pfc. Jessica Lynch, the 19-year-old West Virginian taken prisoner more than a week ago in an Iraqi ambush, is back in American hands after U.S. commandos staged a daring raid of the hospital where she was being kept.
But 11 bodies -- some of them believed to be Americans -- were found during the raid, a military spokesman said Wednesday.
Lynch, an Army supply clerk, was captured by the Iraqis after her maintenance unit made a wrong turn and was ambushed in the southern city of Nasiriyah. Twelve other members of her unit were also feared captured; five of them are officially listed as POWs.
U.S. special operations forces slipped behind enemy lines and seized Lynch from the Saddam Hospital under cover of darkness Tuesday, military officials said. The troops acted on a CIA tip about Lynch's whereabouts.

|MY PRAYER FOR BUSH AND OUR TROOPS
You are the light of the world and I KNOW that everything we see here in the middle east and even those brave firefighters who died trying to save those poor babies on 9/11 were ALL part of your plan. I know that if we just trust in you, THE ONE TRUE GOD, and keep fighting evil we will prevail and good will win again.
Lord, Please forgive me for trying to run over that peacee protestor at that STUPID show-off march. I was furious with freedom -so much so that i just went beserk when I saw those upside down flags and those FREAKS chanting: (f word) Bush. NOBODY MAKES A MOCKERY OF MY LEADER and the greatest country on earthNOBODY
. but runnning over people is wrong unless they are clearly trying to attack me first. If they were Iraqi's well, lets say I would have sent them to allah ealry LOL!
I know that things have been really hard in heaven and i bet jesus is just BLISTERIN to get down here and CLEAN UP Iraq for us. And I know you are too... but this is our war -OUR fight and we must clean up the mess of Islamo-nazism and the terrorists. When we are done with iraq, my lord, we shall go into Iran and syria and norrth Korea and take care of more buisness.
and when buisness is done... we are gonna have a party BABY!
In your name lord, I am keeping ever vigilant to protect the homeland and serve my president.
Amen and GODBLESS AMERICA! Current Mood: contemplative
"US TV correspondent Peter Arnett sacked for comments about Iraq war"
This jerk should be tried for TREASON! Here again we see the liberal media painting him as just 'giving analytic input' when he is CLEARLY aiding and giving comfort to THE ENEMY! Current Mood: angry
